- 80 knots on PDC approach, on the button, though more if heavy.
- Fly in, and out very light. 30 gallons or less of fuel.
- If wind 15 knots or greater, don’t land. Go to Cozumel and take the ferry over. But generally better wind in PDC than Cozumel.
- 8-15 knot gusts are BAD.
- If temperature is greater than 30ºC and you’ve got 4 peolpe, don’t go.
- If there’s ZERO wind, don’t go (you need some wind). Not sure I agree with this.
- Get the Jeppesen Mexico Trip-Kit to get approach plates on the Avidyne.
- Garmins already have the entire “America’s” on them.
