- IFR: use 55% power between waypoints and 35% power descending to next waypoint. That should hold about 120 knots, without wind.
- Flying an IFR approach, you must NOT have VS displayed for the autopilot to grab the GS (glide slope). Hit ALT if you have to to stop the VS so that autopilot will begin following the GS.
- At high altitude airports, such as Jackson, do NOT go full-rich on approach. You if you jam the throttle for a go-around, it may quit on you!
